San Francisco Comic Con is back, this time at the Oakland Convention Center. Jack Katz will be appearing as a guest artist in Artists’ Alley all three days: Friday, June 8 from Noon-7pm, Saturday, June 9 from 10am-7pm and Sunday, June 10 from 10am-5pm. Jack will be selling copies of “The First Kingdom” (Titan Publishing), Sketches Vol. 1 and “The Last Machine in the Solar System” – for which both the author, Matthew Sobin and illustrator, Jack Katz will be on hand to sign. Jack will also be doing convention sketches, signing stuff you bring (if he created it) and telling wild stories. Jack has been tirelessly (okay, sometimes he gets tired) creating his second magnum opus, “Beyond the Beyond,” another huge (500 page) graphic novel. He is, of course, the author, penciler, inker, everything – and at the age of 90 has been churning out an average of a page a week for the last two and a half years. He’s currently on around page 320. Come by and meet the legend!
